Founded in 2020 by Deric Abel, Ignisware was born out of a passion for cloud technology and a desire to empower businesses through innovative solutions. With over a decade of experience in DevOps and cloud engineering, Deric has a proven track record of success in the tech industry. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Weber State University and was an instrumental early hire at Divvy, where he played a key role in the company’s growth. During his tenure at Divvy, which was later acquired by Bill.com in 2021 for $2.5 billion, Deric built and led the platform, IT support, and IT security teams.

Joining Deric is Justin Sharp, another seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in cloud, networking, and software engineering. Justin and Deric first collaborated at Divvy during a period of rapid expansion, where they saw the company grow from 30 to nearly 200 employees in 2018. Their shared experience and deep expertise make them a formidable team, capable of handling virtually any challenge within the cloud space.
